RF7 , la storica band californiana per la prima volta in tour in italia ,la band formata nel 1979 by Felix Alanise Nick Lamagna vanta la condivisione dei palcoscenico con band come Redd Kross, Bad Religion, JFA, Crank Shaft, Circle One, Sin 34, Youth Gone Mad, etc...

Il loro primo Ep, "FALL IN" EDITO NEL 1982 DOPO UNA VASTA SERIE DI SINGOLI, viene prodotto da Geza X, ed e tutt ora considerato una delle pietre miliari del primo h.c. californiano..

Con questo tour gli RF7 presentano il nuovo album “Hatred on the Rise” , uscito per un etichetta svedese, la JUST FOR FUN.

RF7 is a long-lived, southern California punk rock band that began in 1979 by Felix Alanis and Nick Lamagna. Felix also began the record label SMOKE SEVEN RECORDS and signed his band and many others who were ignored by the big labels then, such as Redd Kross, Bad Religion, JFA, Crank Shaft, Circle One, Sin 34, Youth Gone Mad, etc.

From the beginning on there first release "Acts of Defiance" 7-Inch, the RF7 sound was not clearly punk but really what would be called today hardcore punk. Felix Alanis has always mixed middle class virtues with strange religious imagery in his lyrics. Nick Lamagna added guitar and music that had a twist more "rock" then some punks preferred. Walt Phelan added a drummer's drumming, and the bass player seemed to always change, with Robert Armstrong perhaps being the most solid recorded bass man from 1980-83, and again on 1990's classic "Traditional Values" album. On 1982's Fall In album, the band brought in super producer Geza X.

The band still continues today and in 2005 released “Addictions and Heartaches” on the PUKE N' VOMIT label, Nick and Felix are still at the core of the band but the rhythm section includes 15 year RF7 veteran Tony Calderone (who wrote the music to several of the songs on "Additions and Heartache" including the Blazing opening track “Liquor Store”), Big Mike on the drums, and Xavier Chavez on bass. Mike joined for the A & H project and has been playing with the band ever since. Xavier has been with the band since 2007 and released a split 7” vinyl ep in 2008 with RF7 and his other band “Barbie & The Hookers” on his start up indy label CONFORMIST INC.

RF7’s new project “Hatred on the Rise” is set for a May 15th Release, on Swedish indy label, JUST 4 FUN RECORDS. The new project features 19 new recordings. Ten tracks are from the Original 1980’s classic line up and nine tracks from the current RF7 incarnation. The whole project was produced by studio wiz Earle Mankey. The originally plan was to get the ‘80’s band back together for 2 or 3 bonus tracks for the project, but once in the studio it was clear there was a lot of the original chemistry still alive so it turned into a head to head challenge between Old vs. New. “Nick and I had pretty much written all the songs for the project and so we just randomly mixed them up between the two line ups and let them influence the arrangements and sound of the finished product,” says Felix. “We used the same studio, engineer, and producer to keep things even, and then to further the comparison we took the title song “Hatred on the Rise” and had both line ups put on their own spin and we included them both. As one final curve ball the current line up decided they would like to cover one of their favorite live songs we do from the early 80’s. So they chose, “Old Enough to Die” and we recorded that song. They did it was a tribute to the old guys, as all the current line up is here because they were RF7 fans first and now are glad to be carrying on the RF7 legacy,” concludes Felix. Big Mike, says “we chose to do it out of respect for the original band but also because we kick ass on that jam” Stefan, from JUST 4 FUN RECORDS says, “I do this project because I love RF7.” Advance listening of the new CD is convincing, that RF7 is still putting out the same power as back in 1979…

Il The Unbelievable Noisy Quartet (T.U.N.Q.) nasce nell’estate 2007 dall'incontro di Matteo (chitarra) e Alessio (basso), con l’intento di creare musica sotto l'insegna di un suono differente e uno stile innovativo, rispetto i soliti clichè della scena musicale underground spezzina e italiana (ormai satura). Il nucleo del proprio sound pone le basi in un nu-metal nel senso più ampio del termine, con sentite contaminazioni da diversi territori musicali anche contrastanti (post grunge, alternative, post metal) il tutto amalgamato da una buona dose di sperimentazione. La prima formazione trova il suo assetto completo nello stesso autunno ma dopo la stesura dei primi pezzi e i primi concerti, a marzo 2008, si ha la prima rottura che porta il batterista e il cantante a lasciare il gruppo per seguire percorsi differenti. Tempi duri per il former duo, durante i quali continuano a mantenere viva la fiamma del proprio credo trovando nel loro amico Gordon un ottimo sostituto provvisorio alla batteria mentre Matteo tenta l'approccio parallelo alla voce, con scarsi risultati. Finalmente nel settembre 2008, dopo mesi di anonimato, l'arrivo di Francesco (batteria) e Giovanni (voce) danno una nuova anima alla band. Dopo un paio di live di “assestamento” decidono di chiudersi in sala prove (ossia la cantina di Matteo) per scrivere nuovi pezzi. Il nuovo suono è di sua natura più potente rispetto alla formazione precedente, così come le nuove composizioni si elevano ancor di più in quanto a sperimentazione e stravaganza. Contemporaneamente, da novembre 2008 ad aprile 2009, i quattro registrano (sempre in cantina) il loro primo EP omonimo "COMPLETAMENTE E FOTTUTAMENTE AUTOPRODOTTO", come a loro stessi piace definirlo, che vede raccolti i primi 5 pezzi frutto della line-up precedente ma rivisitati con lo stile della nuova formazione. A maggio riprendono l'attività live per un piccolo tour tra Liguria e Toscana per la promozione del disco appena rilasciato; contrariamente a quanto ci si aspetta, la formazione, inizialmente, non era ancora pienamente matura e/o completamente cosciente delle proprie capacità. Col tempo riescono ad affinare il loro sound personale e perfezionare le proprie performance live, con prestazioni esemplari come quelle al "Livorno Rock Village", al "Dress:Code" di Pisa, al "Brixton" di Alassio (SV) e al "Checkmate Rock Club" di Genova (di supporto agli emiliani Valerian Swing) fino al ritorno in casa alla “Skaletta” di La Spezia appunto. Nel 2010, dopo una piccola parentesi all’ "Exenzia Contest 2.0" a Prato, i T.U.N.Q. sono impegnati a scrivere nuovi pezzi, in attesa dei preparativi per un promo contenente le nuove creazioni che destineranno alle etichette interessate alla loro proposta. Nel frattempo intraprendono una nuova importante avventura firmando un contratto annuale con la “Sidefill Promotions”, nuova costola della rinomata “Extreme Agency”.
