Gandhi's Gunn + Godwatt Redemption

Gandhi's Gunn, dopo alcuni anni di intensa attività live durante cui hanno anche condiviso il palco con band di assoluto culto nel panorama Stoner Rock mondiale come Clutch (USA), Acid King (USA), Atomic Bitchwax (USA), Church of Misery (Giappone) e Los Natas (Argentina), pubblicano il loro primo album “Thirtyeahs” nell'Aprile 2010.
La band genovese si distingue per il suo sound granitico, di forte impatto, profondamente ispirato dalle ruvide sonorità della prima corrente Stoner americana, rievocando e attualizzando episodi alla Corrosion of Conformity, Clutch, Fu Manchu, e aprendosi a territori più visionari e psichedelici.
“Thirtyeahs”, pubblicato per la neo-etichetta genovese Taxi Driver Records e già ben recensito su stampa specializzata, fanzine e webzine esce in edizione limitata 300 copie numerate a mano, in pacchetto unico Vinile + CD. L'artwork che impreziosisce l'album è opera di Kabuto, ex bassista e grafico ufficiale della band: sue sono infatti anche le locandine dei concerti e il merchandise a marchio Gandhi's Gunn, a sottolineare quanto la contaminazione fra musica e arti grafiche sia parte integrante e fondamentale dell'espressione artistica della band.

GodWatt Redemption begin their activity in june 2006, when three friends, tired of monothony and dissatisfaction of the musical scene of their own province, deeply moved by low tune and sulphureus notes, decide to "set up" a hard rock-stoner/doom band.
The proposal came from the guitarist-singer Moris Fosco, pushed by the monolithic bass player Mauro "Motorgeezer" Passeri.
After having tested several musicians, they decided that it was better to carry on in 3 and recruited Andrea 'Junkie' Vozza on drums. From this moment on the band began its activity with summer intense jam sessions. There were ideas and the desire to perform and have an audience. After several months of exhausting sessions, they decided that it was the moment to record a demo, at the end of december.
The recording ended in february at the Ressole Studios in Sora near Rome-. The demo contains 4 tracks. From now on, the band began its heavy live activity pressing down numerous stages of Italy, they took part also at the TRASH YOUR DOOM FEST in Rome, "TUBE CULT FEST" in Pescara, STONED HAND OF DOOM 4 and 5 (the most important doom fest in italy) and "SWEET LEAF" fest in Benevento. After the releases of a demo cd and a self-produced full lenght (The hard ride Of Mr. Slumber), the band starts to work at their new studio album, titled "Entering The Oblivion", and it will release in the first months of 2011.
